What we collect

Why we use it

Cookies and browser storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you: it records things like which pages are viewed and the country and device type. The first time you visit, we ask whether we can remember you. If you say yes, your browser keeps two small notes (no cookies, nothing sent to us): the date of your last visit, so we can welcome you back, and whether you were looking at men's or women's shoes in our guides. If you say no, we keep only your answer, so we don't ask again.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a small number of providers to run the site: hosting, our database (stored in the EU) and an email service for sending your results. Where any of them process data outside the UK, they do so under safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it, and you can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email privacy@pairgood.com and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
